FALL 2025 COURSE

Hello Dancers! The London Balboa Collective are back! Our fall course will run from October 7th 2025 through to November 25th 2025. The course will be geared towards beginners and advanced beginners so no real experience needed. We will be working on the fundamental techniques of Pure Balboa and Bal-Swing (originally known as Balboa and Swing). We will be splitting the course into two sessions, each consisting of four weeks of a classes. Each class will be two hours in duration with continuous instructor feedback and dance practice throughout. Below are the course details. Welcome to the London Balboa Collective!

We are a group of friends who wish to spread our love for the balboa dance across the greater London area. Click the photos to find out more about who we are.

Our mission is to:

  • To promote the balboa dance artform in London through classes, competitions, social dances, festivals, and collaboration with other organisations and artists.

  • To work towards the integration of the various swing dance communities in London.

  • To research, study, and promote the history of the artform, as well as the history and culture of jazz and swing dance, music, and the communities from which it developed.

  • To conserve the artform and to innovate and grow the dance.

  • To help shape and grow the next generation of balboa dancers.
